Beer Bread

You will be shocked at how delicious and easy this Beer Bread is. With ingredients you probably have in your pantry and fridge already – this is a great bread to memorize and make all the time. It gets made at my house with soups, as breakfast bread (add a touch of cinnamon yum!), or just bread to enjoy with your friends. It’s delicious!

It is super easy – mix all of the ingredients and then add the beer! I usually use a Dark IPA, but this Ultra did the job nicely! (note: this is a 20 oz. can – I only used 12 oz. of it).

Sifting flour for bread recipes is a must-do.

Part of the recipe is about sifting flour. Sifting flour for bread recipes is a must-do. Most people just scoop the 1 cup measure in the flour canister and level it off. That compacts the flour and will turn your bread into a “hard biscuit”.  That’s because they aren’t sifting their flour! If you do not have a sifter, use a spoon to spoon the flour into the 1 cup measure. Just try it! You’ll totally agree.

Lastly, pour the butter over the mixture in the loaf pan. Don’t be shy! I have made it using 1/2 a stick and a full stick and definitely like it better WITH the full stick! It just makes the top of the bread so crunchy and ‘fat’ always makes things better right?
