I didn’t always think I would be writing and teaching across the country. In fact, after graduating from Ouachita Baptist and Baylor with my degrees in Sports Marketing, I thought I might end up being an Athletic Director one day. Boy, was I wrong! God had other plans! My career in athletics took me to 4 schools and states in 5 years. I had to become an expert at building and rebuilding my community.
God knew exactly what He was doing when He was teaching me about the importance of community and solitude with Him.
Fast forward 10 years, and I get a call to write a cookbook. Me? I’m not a chef or a trained culinary savante, why am I writing a cookbook. I’m just your best friend giving you the easiest tips to get out of the kitchen and spend more time with your people!
Jesus is my passion. Hospitality is my favorite conduit to show people Jesus.
