When cooking with seafood the biggest challenge I always have is… did I cook it enough? Is it still raw? How do I know if it is done? A crab cake can be tough!
What I love about crab, is the fact that you can buy it already pre-cooked. The recipe is simple – just add seasonings, bread crumbs, and a fat to hold it together. In this instance, it’s mayo. Don’t complicate a crab cake.
I know that when I leave work I don’t have a family to come home to. I don’t have kids or a husband that need my attention. I also don’t have anyone to sit down at the table with.
That can’t stop me.
I am specifically using this period of singleness in my life to prepare for a family, prepare for a husband and kids vying for my time. I am building up a store house of recipes so that when that day comes – I have something to lean on because currently there isn’t anything out there that I have found to prepare me.
I hope you find excitement in the fact that I see this need, and as someone that loves the kitchen and desires to help you enjoy it too… the mindset I am slipping into my friends, is yours.
So when I started creating this recipe – I wanted it to be easy. Dump, stir, fry, eat. It’s that simple.
Don’t take away from your precious family time – in fact, use this as a simple and easy recipe that even your kids can help with!
Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and stir.
Roll the mixture into 8 little patties.

And fry. it will only take a couple of minutes, so while those are frying up make your aioli, or buy some – either way!
Then enjoy! I plated mine on arugula because why not! It makes everything look better and gives you an excuse to get a few more green veggies in. Hope you’re loving this and more from my cookbook!
